RadiantSmile Community Events – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in events organized by RadiantSmile Community Events, hereinafter referred to as “the Organization” or “RadiantSmile.” By participating in any event organized by RadiantSmile, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
- Eligibility: Participation in RadiantSmile Community Events is open to individuals aged 18 and above. Minors under the age of 18 may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Registration: Participants must register for events through the RadiantSmile website or any other designated platform. Registration may require providing personal information such as name, contact details, and other relevant information as requested. By registering, participants agree to provide accurate and truthful information.
- Event Participation: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner during RadiantSmile Community Events. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior towards other participants, volunteers, or staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event premises.
- Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights associated with RadiantSmile Community Events, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, event names, and content, are the property of the Organization. Participants agree not to use, reproduce, or distribute any such intellectual property without prior written consent from RadiantSmile.
- Privacy Policy: RadiantSmile respects the privacy of its participants and complies with all applicable data protection laws. By participating in RadiantSmile Community Events, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Liability: Participants acknowledge that participation in RadiantSmile Community Events may involve certain risks and agree to assume all such risks voluntarily. The Organization shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property arising from participation in the event.
- Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold RadiantSmile, its affiliates, partners, and volunteers harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in RadiantSmile Community Events, including but not limited to legal fees.
- Changes and Cancellations: RadiantSmile reserves the right to make changes to event details, including dates, times, locations, and activities, at its discretion. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, the Organization will make reasonable efforts to notify participants in advance.
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RadiantSmile is registered. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By participating in RadiantSmile Community Events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should not participate in the events organized by RadiantSmile.
Data Collection:
- Consent for Data Collection: By participating in RadiantSmile Community Events, participants consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal information by RadiantSmile. This includes but is not limited to information provided during registration, event participation, and interactions with the Organization’s website and communications channels.
- Purpose of Data Collection: Personal information collected from participants may be used for various purposes, including event registration, communication, volunteer coordination, fundraising activities, and statistical analysis. RadiantSmile will only use personal information for legitimate purposes related to its charitable activities.
- Data Security: RadiantSmile implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security of participants’ personal information and prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, participants acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and RadiantSmile cannot guarantee absolute security of data.
- Third-Party Disclosure: RadiantSmile may share participants’ personal information with third-party service providers, partners, or affiliates involved in organizing or supporting Community Events. These entities are required to comply with data protection laws and implement appropriate security measures to protect participants’ personal information.
- Marketing Communications: By providing their contact information, participants may receive marketing communications from RadiantSmile about upcoming events, fundraising campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and other relevant activities. Participants have the option to opt out of receiving such communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communication.
- Data Retention: RadiantSmile will retain participants’ personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions or as required by applicable laws and regulations. After this period, personal information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
- Access and Correction: Participants have the right to access, correct, or update their personal information held by RadiantSmile. Requests for access, correction, or deletion of personal information should be submitted to the Organization’s designated contact person or through the appropriate channels provided on the RadiantSmile website.
By participating in RadiantSmile Community Events, participants acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and RadiantSmile’s Privacy Policy.
